A roundup of faculty appearances in news sources and media from the last week, 2/27/14 to 3/6/14.
2/27 – Lori Andrews was quoted in a Public News Service article about the The Media Consortium’s 2014 Conference, which was held at Chicago-Kent last week (“How Illinoisans Can ‘Beat the Spy State’”). Andrews presented on digital surveillance, the right to privacy, and freedom of speech at the conference.
3/3 – The Spring 2014 issue of IIT Magazine ran a feature article on Bernadette Atuahene and her scholarship, which focuses on the subject of land restitution in South Africa (“A Voice for Justice in South Africa”).
3/3 – Howard Eglit was quoted in a Bakersfield Californian article on age discrimination and employment (“Hire, retain most valuable employees”).
3/4 – In a Chicago Daily Law Bulletin headline, Elizabeth De Armond was named director of Chicago-Kent’s legal research and writing program, effective July 1.
