The video of Chicago-Kent’s Constitution Day panel discussion on same-sex marriage is now live. The panel—“When Did It Become Unconstitutional for States to Ban Same-Sex Marriage?: Constitutional Interpretation in the 21st Century”—was held at Chicago-Kent on October 10, 2013. Professor Steven Heyman moderated the discussion of Hollingsworth v. Perry (the Proposition 8 case) and US v. Windsor (the DOMA case). Panelists included Chicago-Kent professors Carolyn Shapiro and Katharine Baker, and George Mason Law Professor Ilya Somin.
